Halloween

We spent Halloween with Matts friends from College. Here are a few Pics!!

We also went to the Nevada Day parade in Carson City! It was not something we had planned but it turned out to be an awesome day and something we were glad we did. We couldnt believe we lived in Reno for 5 years (and longer) and never attended the biggest parade in Nevada! haha There were some crazy floats though! Im sad I didnt get any pics of them!

Favorite Things

So its Saturday afternoon and I have nothing to do, so i decided to blog about some of my favorite things! I def went around the house taking pictures of things that I really enjoy : )
First thing is DeFiNaTlY my baby : ) Hes the best companion ever and is always there ready for whatever were going to do next!

And we'll go anywhere if there is a car ride involved ha.

These are another one of my favorite things in Modesto. My roses! I have 6 different colors (red, peach, yellow, purple, white and an orangeish.) They are soo pretty to look at and I love them. Roses are very easy to maintain also so they are perfect. I only have to water them and prune them every month or so.

My favorite thing to do around the house is scrapbook. This is a messing setup I have at the moment:

My favorite Hair prodect! Chi... I have been using it for like 10 years and still love it. It helps your hair stay smooth/silky and smells amazing.

Sorry to bore you... but this is one of the Weirdest things that I actually enjoy having around the house. A Stick! haha yes you read right.. This small log or large stick has been with me for over 2 years now. I dont know why and I dont know how. Matt and I picked it up while floating down the Reno river. How it got in the car and to the house we do not know, but it made it there. This stick has been through everything from turning fire logs to Trip chewing on it and it still remained in the house. Pretty good story you say? Well months ago we moved to Modesto. and what shows up? this stick! haha How it made its way here.. again I do not know but this stick follows us whereever we go! I now feel that it is pretty good and original house decore! lol so It leans up in the corner and just blends in. Here is a pic so you can get a better visual : )

Summer Time = BEACH!

YES! An afternoon at the beach! The day started out pretty cold. Everyone was in sweatshirts and pants at the beach but not me and Matt. ha. We toughed it out in our bathingsuits at 59 degrees and extreme overcast. Because its not everyday we get to go! (We both havent been to the beach in like 6 years). So it started out not being the vision we had... but then... about an hour or two into it the clouds began to move.... and the sun appeard!! Woo Hoo!!
We were so happy! I began taking pics lol

I got the chance to go to Britney Spears concert!! Wasnt going to pass that up! We had an amazing time!

We got a little lost on the way home and it took us like double the time to get back! We took wierd roads through the country with us being the only car on the road! It was a little crazy but I trust in the phone GPS and we put our lives in the "hands" of technology! ha

Dont worry we finally made it home 3 hrs later : )

SURPRISE!!!

We had a surprise hawaiian themed party for matts mom. She was soo surprised there were a few tears shed. ha I think we mostly just scared her.

Vegas Weddings

Matt and I got the chance to go to Vegas again. We went for my friend Ashley and Loa's wedding and it was a blast. That week was venue searching for our wedding, hanging out with family, going downtown, hair cuts and weddings of course!

One night we went with friends Brooke and Chris downtown. We took a walk through fremont street and looked at the lights. It really is pretty cool

I Love weddings!!



RELAY 4 LIFE

Matt and I participated in the relay for life this weekend and had an awesome time! There were so many companies there supporting and great activities. We walked/ran for a team created by a doctor Matt works with. We got 4 miles in!

One of the Fun things they had was the live band playing. It made super eaasy with good music live in the background! There was also drinks/food/crafts a costume contest among other things to help raise money.
